Based at our facility in Kent, we have a specialist team with expertise in design, engineering, manufacturing and business development. They are continually working hard to deliver excellent products that meet your needs.
Shareholders
Our shareholders are passionate about supporting Crosshead and share Stuart’s dedication in building a new UK manufacturing business. Having grown to a team of seven, they regularly meet to discuss strategy and plan Crosshead business growth.
Meet the Shareholders
Stuart Lambert
Founder and creator of Crosshead, Stuart has worked in the design industry for 20 years for leading design companies in London and Milan, both as an in-house specialist and as an independent consultant. Crosshead was founded in 2009 while he studied for an MBA at Plymouth University, ensuring business skills would complement his design expertise.
Alex Kalogroulis
Alex studied design engineering at the Royal College of Art (RCA) and has a talent for analysing problems, finding workable practical solutions, uniting design and engineering with aesthetic integrity. He has worked with Sir Clive Sinclair on the ‘A’ Bike (folding & electric) during his career as a successful design and engineering consultant.
Thomas Millman
Investing in 2009, when the product was still being conceptualised, Tom has an art school education and is an IT specialist. He works with a well-known corporate bank making sure major trading cities like London, Frankfurt and New York are all connected seamlessly. He is a trusted ally to the project with a strong business instinct.
William Jackson
Will worked on the first three prototypes as an engineering consultant helping to get the design working in 3D CAD with crucial work in evolving CP01, CP02 & CP03, he has a BA in engineering and has crucial bicycle making and engineering expertise.
Stewart Phillips
Stewart is a specialist in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and in particular manufacturing aluminium tube products. He has a practical Sales & Marketing experience aligned with extensive technical knowledge of how to get things manufactured; an all-rounder in manufacturing problem solving.
Chris Blade
Chris studied Glass design at the RCA and as Chris Blade Design ran a glass manufacturing studio, before becoming a senior university lecturer. In 2009 he became a senior manager at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland before joining Cumbria Crystal in 2015 as Managing Director.
Andy Edwards
The Founder and managing director of ILF products, a steel and aluminium stockholder and associated machine services company. Andy has many years of sales and marketing experience in steel and non-ferrous industry and has succeeded in building a great reputation for ILF.
